First Person

There are a lot of different perspectives that one can use to tell a story. An author working on a new novel must choose a narrator for the story, a point of view from which to observe the action. Her choice won’t be arbitrary, because she knows that perspective used will affect the story told.

I have chosen to be my own narrator. This is a first person music career. I’m not hiring a music writer to compose a biography for me like some artists do. I don’t have a social media person Tweeting and Facebooking on my behalf. There’s no record label or management team helping me develop and present my story to the media. For better or for worse, I’m doing this whole thing in the first person.┬áThis is me. Hi.
